Saul A. Green
Saul Green is a principal and member of Miller Canfield's Minority Business Practice Group, which focuses on minority-owned businesses, particularly in the automotive industry. Prior to assuming a role in the private sector, Saul Green had a long career in public service. He was appointed United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan by former President William J. Clinton, and served in that capacity from May 1994 to May 2001. Prior to that, he held the following positions: Wayne County Corporation Counsel, Chief Counsel for the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development in the Detroit Field Office, and Assistant United States Attorney. He has also chaired the Michigan State Bar Committee on the Expansion of Under-Represented Groups in the Law for a number of years and is a fellow of the State Bar Foundation and the American Bar Association Foundation. And in 1990, he was appointed by the Michigan Supreme Court to the Attorney Grievance Commission.
Saul Green is the 1998 recipient of the Damon J. Keith Community Spirit Award, the in 1999 State Bar Champion of Justice Award, and the 2002 Wade Hampton McCree, Jr. Award, given in recognition for his "courage, humanity, achievement, and leadership."
