WITNESS
Randall Berg is the Executive Director of the Florida Justice Institute, Inc., a public interest law firm in Miami he established in 1978. He has been involved in numerous individual and class action lawsuits aimed at improving Florida's prison and jails over the past 27 years. He is past Chairman of the Corrections Committee of The Florida Bar, and past President of the ACLU of Florida. He served on Governor Chiles' Transition Criminal Justice Task Force, and several legislative committees dealing with criminal justice and corrections issues. He is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Miami School of Law, and directs the Volunteer Lawyers' Project for the U.S. District Court for the S.D. Fla.
